Inequality of opportunity is an issue in the financial services industry worldwide. Different groups of people and individuals are being systematically underserved, or have less access to financial solutions. This also occurs in the Netherlands. ABN AMRO’s Inclusive Banking team is taking stock of the various causes of this problem and examining what barriers certain client groups – such as female entrepreneurs – face; and also how these barriers can be overcome so that everyone gets the service that best suits their needs. That’s how ABN AMRO is pursuing equal opportunities for all.
